PSA: Malawach does not really work as crust for sweet potato pie

I say not really because it is yummy. It just isn't right- its too flaky (duh), its not pie crust(ok, duh again), which I love, and it stuck to the pan. But it was easy, and fast, I didn't have to buy it, I had it in the freezer already, and since my kids decided they no longer like malawach (I love when they do that!...not) it was saving food from being wasted.
Going to put the sauce on the Hawaiian chicken.
